All animals boarding with us must be in good health if we feel your pet is showing signs of illness or injury we may refuse to accept them. This is for the benefit of your pet and that of other animals boarding with us. Rabbits must be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and VHD and proof shown on arrival. There is currently no vaccination requirement for other small animals.
We will take the utmost care of your pet whilst in our care and follow your pet’s daily routines carefully, helping to minimize any stress to your pet whilst with us. Unfortunately, small animals can sometimes pass away without any warning and we cannot accept any liability in the unlikely event that this happens during their stay at Bristol Bunny Boarders. All pets are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
When a booking is made, we will request your vets’ details in case of an emergency. If your pet becomes ill during their stay with us, we will inform you immediately and consult a vet. If your pet then requires medical attention from the vet we will transport them there for treatment. We charge £10 per hour for this service. Any costs for treatment by the vet must be met by you, the owner. Your pet will be treated under your name and address, either at our vets or yours depending on the distance to your vet’s surgery. In the extremely unlikely event that your pet passes away whilst in our care, we will contact you immediately and follow your wishes.
We are open every day 9am – 3pm but request you inform us on the booking form the intended time you wish to drop your pet off and collect. We can accommodate drop off and collections outside these times with prior notice.
All payments must be made in full before the day of arrival. The daily rate includes the day your pet is brought to us and the day they leave. Any additional costs incurred during your pets stay will need to be paid before your pet is collected. We accept cash or bank transfer. We will request a 50% deposit which is non-refundable in the event of cancelling your pets stay.
If your pet is not collected on the due day and we are unable to contact you via the information you have given us, we will, after seven days seek to have your pet re-homed.
